Well, we are just celebrating a lot of life over here at the McLambs!!
Caleb learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels!!! Yeah! We are so proud of him! Please go to John’s blog to see a sweet video of his new skill!!

And Luke, our freshly-turned-five-year-old, has officially stopped sucking his thumb!! In our house, at 4, you can only have your thumb in your bed and at 5, you have to give it up! (We always reassure them that we will never take away their “lovies” and laugh about our kids going to college with Chop Chop, Ray, and Monty!!) So, it was hard for Lukey, but he was highly motivated because you get a prize when you have successfully quit! So, his prize was a Boba Fett action figure- he LOVES Jango Fett from Star Wars and well, there was only Boba Fett (who is Jango’s son, anyway- sorry, TMI for you non-Star Wars fans!!)

Elijah . . . hmmm . . . he can catch a ball pretty good for a 3 year old!

And Hopey, well, she just discovered her feet- I mean, that’s an accomplishment in Babyworld!
We are so proud of all 4 of our blessings from God!
We are making some progress with packing- God has provided several people to buy some of our stuff and this has been a huge blessing. I had a pang when they came and got our table last night and then felt this great peace all over from God reminding me, “Jenny, they’re just things- no big deal! Be thankful that you had them!” WOW! Ok! I can’t believe how often I struggle with my flesh over things- it is such a fight to want to satisfy this hungry flesh- with things and food and conveniences and stock piles! But, it just does NOT satisfy!
Listen to this truth from God’s Word:
Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself; how I praise You! You satisfy me more than the richest of foods. I will praise You with songs of joy! Psalm 63:3-5
WOW! God is so satisfying! I pray I can stop looking beyond Him for satisfaction!
Caleb, I am so proud of you for riding your bike.
Luke, you have gotten so big and you have stopped stucking your thumb. I am proud of you.
Elijah, I am very proud of you for catching a ball so well.
Hope, you are so sweet and I love your feet too. I am proud of you too.
Jenny, you are remarkable about being so at peace as you part with earthly things.
